« Finding your axis is not standing still — it is the pivot that sets movement going again. » Paris, June 2026 — Duc Siegenthaler presents AXIS MUNDI, his SS27 collection: the season of the centre. A season in motion, a return to the source — unveiled as a Guest show at Mode Suisse (Zurich, for the 20th anniversary of HEAD-Genève) and at the Likewise showroom (Paris). After the epic of LORE GENESIS, the perpetual metamorphosis of METAMORPHOSIS PERPETUA and the inhabited finitude of MEMENTO MORI, the maison opens a new chapter.
The Axis Mundi is the fixed point from which orientation becomes possible again, what does not
move and makes everything that moves inhabitable. A symbolic structure found in every
civilisation: the sacred pillar of the Ise shrine, invisible and transferred every twenty years during
its ritual rebuilding, like the pole star that guides without moving. AXIS MUNDI asks what
remains when movement stops, not its end but its foundation. The centre to set off again. For
Duc Siegenthaler, who has spent twenty years navigating between geographies and identities,
this is not the story of his origins, but the formalisation of a rebuilt centre, where the lines finally
converge.
